About The EngineerHector Meza is a recording and mixing engineer from El Paso, Texas, with deep roots in the city’s hardcore scene. He’s been playing shows since he was 13, started touring at 17, and to this day stays active in the scene — going to shows, staying involved, and never losing that connection.In 2016, he recorded his first band — Damien from Las Cruces — and knew he had something worth building on. That session pushed him to take things further and start creating a space where heavy music would finally get the treatment it deserves.With no mentor, no formal training, and no shortcuts, Hector developed his craft the long way — recording friends, chasing tone, and learning what it takes to make heavy music sound as powerful as it feels. Every mix reflects that same mindset: clarity, weight, and intent over trends and templates.
